Knits and thoughts, tuesday morning, classical music

Dear Diary,
This beautiful tuesday morning I'd love to share with you my thoughts about…
Music: I've read somewhere that scientists found out that classical music helps inspiration. Indeed! It was first time I've tried iTunes radio and after creating few stations based on my musical preferences I ended up with Mozart & More radio. It is beautiful! Very inspirational! So inspirational that it inspired me for my second post here, haha.

Knitting: Honestly, creating this blog I thought to share about my addictions, like knitting.  S* laughs all the time when I tell him that I need new yarn, says that I need help, not yarn. I do want to buy yarn all the time. Following fellow knitters on Pinterest i found out that I am not alone in that yarn craziness and that there is no cure yet. But it is ok with me. It is totally ok with me having all that projects in my head and wanting to knit more and more and more.

Ok, back to business…
Michaels had yarn sale last week. I don't really like their yarn selection, because it is unnatural fiber more often and I prefer wool and Co, but sale is sale (irresistible) and I had to check it. I got there pretty rainbowy-colored acrylic fingering yarn. I wish it would be something more natural, but colors were so amazing so I had to get it.  When I was buying it I knew I was going to make my first Entrelac scarf. And indeed I did. I started it few days ago and it is such fun project! It is interesting to see which color is next and how beautiful this colors are together. And I love the technic of Entrelac - it is fast to knit and easy to remember the pattern. It is going to be super cute after blocking!
I'd love to thank Allison LoCicero for free and easy to follow pattern of that scarf! I am having so much fun making it! And another big "thank you" I'd love to send to Staci and her site Pink Knits for video tutorial for that scarf. That video was very inspiring for me and I wanted to make Entrelac for a while. And I made a mistake on first tier and found out what I made wrong only after I watched tutorial. So yeah! Huge thank you, oh knitting gurus!

I probably should finish on that grateful note since I have my gym waiting for me and soap supplies was not ordered yet . ( About soap I'll tell you later, my dear Diary)
Have a blissful tuesday, everybody :)

My first post.

Dear diary...

This is my first post here and probably I need to say something about myself. I am Alexa, super-woman ( but tsss... It's  a secret...) I was born in Russia, after university moved to Thailand and spent there 5 years. Few years ago I met my husband S*. He is from United States so I ended up here, living happy life in South Carolina.
I am addicted to soap making and knitting.
Hugs and  kisses, your Lex :)
